object in group not moving in sync with the rest of the group

In my project I have a grouped object, the interior of that group looks like this:

when I select the main "bot" group it does this:

Obviously I don’t want the U shaped object to be moving out of sync with the main group. 

Help, how fix.

Hi!

What is happening looks like a classic case of double transformation. This normally happens when the group that you are moving contains both an object and something that deforms the object (deformer, simulation, etc).

Normally you can fix this by selecting the object that is double transforming and in the Attribute Editor in the Transform Attriubtes disabling the "Inherits Transform" option.

If that doesn't help, I you need some more information into what exactly is effecting the object in question.
