What's de difference between Paste and Paste Connect?

Hi!

 

I'm animating and copying and pasting some keyframes, and.. What's de difference between Past and Past Connectadaf.png

I had the same question and nobody ever gives an answer, I am no expert but I will tell you what I know.

 

Paste is replicating the exact details of what you copied.

Paste Connect is where your frame is replicated but with regards to flow of movement and continuity. (It takes previous frames into account).

 

Please correct me if I'm wrong though. Hope this helps.

Hi!

 

Please read Maya Online Help / Documentation and try on your own.

Create a cube, create animation (at least 2 keyframes), try copy paste then copy paste connect.

Best seen in Graph Editor. It takes just a few seconds to test this.
