Have you painted any weights? If influence from your arm is affecting the waist area, it will move whenever you move your arm control.

Hi!

I recommend to go 1 step back (before bind skin).

1. Clean up your scene, you have hundreds of nodes of history on your main character, delete them.

Edit -> Delete By Type -> History

Also your default viewport cameras seem to be parented to another node ?

2. Read the following abound skin bind, including the following pages:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/MAYAUL/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-8DBA9E62-3854-4348-A0AD-1F981ECEA54F

There are also examples included that show the same user error, for example:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/MAYAUL/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-36890D37-174B-4952-8454-24CD95E47E1A

3. Try multiple skin bind methods and choose the one that leads to the best result. You may need to fine-tune your weighting further, for example
