Time Editor and motion paths

Hi,

How do I properly add motion paths as clips to the Time Editor?

A simple example: a camera is constrained to a path on a range of 120 frame. I'd like to add a clip to a Time Editor track corresponding to this animation (i.e. of length 120 frames).

I've tried adding camera, path, or both of them with "Add animation from scene selection", but I always get a 1-frame clip instead of full-range clip.

Thanks,

Mile

The way you have described, I don't think you can add a camera attached to an animation motion path.  You might have to bake the animation of the camera on that motion path for this work.

By trying to add these the way you have described, you might be getting this error:

"No animated channels on the selected object(s)"  which means nothing is really animated, as this is just following a path, it doesn't have any keys set.

If you open the Graph Editor, all you get is a position marker, not really animation keys.

If you bake the camera it will create a usable clip in the Trax Editor as you expect it to.. Best of luck
