Static pose instead of animation imported to Unreal Engine 4

Hi

When I want to import my animation from Maya to UE4 through FBX, the engine sees it as a static pose. The time slider shows the correct number of frames, mesh and skeleton are recognised, but the character doesn't move at all. It imports the first pose from my animation and stays in that pose for the rest of the time slider.

The funny thing is that around 2 weeks ago when I was last working on this project, everything went buttery smooth, without any major issues. I have tried dozens of options in the export settings in Maya to no effect. I'm running out of options.

Does anyone have any ideas how to combat this problem?

Edit: Just to be sure I exported a completely different rig from Maya to UE4 with it's own animation and the same thing happened. Static pose instead of an animation in the engine.
