Source Clip ...

I know that when you create an animation clip it then drives the object in the scene and the keyframes are not accessible in the scene. My question is how can I restore the animation data in the Source Clip, in the Visor, to the original object ? Online Help says the source clip is stored outside the Trax Editor to protect it from being accidentally tampered with. This way you can always revert back to it. How do I accomplish this ? Thanks.

Afaik there s no way directly from the visor. What you need to do is: assign the Clip (Source) to a character in trax, then when you see the clip (it s a container of the information refering to the Source), right click & hold -> activate keys.
This moves the keys, that were managed through the clipScheduler onto each respective object channel. Now you can delete the clip / clipSource if you want to and re-create a clip...
This is also necessary when you want to get rid of the double channel display the characterset forces on the graph editor...
