Reference editor adds unwanted extra suffix to the namespace (gif included)

For scripts to work, the namespace needs to be "kayla", but reference editor adds "2018" after as seen in the gif

If I do it again, 2018 will become 2019. Then 2020. The real name is only displayed in the namespace box after selecting a different reference and then coming back to it.

How can I fix this?
