quicktime player option 's not here (playblast)

hello , i'am not a professionnal , i'am just started it rigth now so can i have simple explication ?please

my problem 's i can't chose " quicktime player " option  .

see ---> 

the option 's not here but i HAVE TO use it to make it .

quichtime player 's allready in my MAC OS .

so why the option 's not here ?

Hi @Anonymous, 

You can use "avfoundation" for this. 

Actually, AVFoundation is the Apple framework used to create Quicktime movies. I heard Maya is going to rename it to "Quicktime" soon to end this confusion.

Yes. I believe it is actually QuickTime as we use in Windows. You can carry on with it. I don't own a Mac at the moment so please accept the first reply as the solution if it works for you so others can find the answer easily.
