I'm still fairly new to the world of Maya, so bare with me.
When it comes to keyframing in Maya, in my experience, you have to click on your next frame in the timeline, pose your object, set the keyframe, and then click your next frame before changing the object's pose again. Is there a way to change the animation settings so you can change the pose either before or after clicking to the frame? I'm sure a lot of new animators run into this where they forget to click their next frame and spend a bunch of time posing their object, just to have it all disappear because they forgot to select their next frame first. I'm watching a tutorial right now and the guy seems to have his Maya set up so he can pose his object and then click the frame he wants to key the pose to, but he doesn't talk about how he got Maya to behave that way. Does anyone know if its possible to do this?
