problem to play audio in MAYA, but it works in timeline

I import an audio to Maya, when I play it in the program the audio does not work, but if I scroll with the mouse in the time line I can listen without any problem. I can't work on the lypsing of my animations because it doesn't play in general. The configuration settings are adjusted according to Maya's requirements.

Make sure when you are playing back,. that your speed is set to "realtime"

I think  by default it might be set to play every frame , free ( which means it will play as fast as your computer can do it .. and it also. won't play sound)

Yes, I forgot to add above that it is in "realtime". The problem persists.

I have just solved the problem. I found the path to the maya Prefs folder and deleted it to reset the whole program again and it worked for me.
