Pole Vector from Rotate-Plane Solver IK not working properly

I have a character to rig.

I've added an IK for the knee and a pole vector constrain directing to an object in front of the knee joint, but when I move the foot up and down the knee points to a different direction.

I believe it's because my joints are not on a straight vertical line, but the model has her legs open, so I have to do it this way.

How can I fix it?

Hi

What ever the model in Staright Leg, U can arrange the skelton in slight bend towards the knee, (Pic Attached)  then  arrange polevector constrain.  that will going Correct movement,

I managed to fix the orientation by rotating the joints and adding the rotation value to the orientation, then resetting the rotation to zero.
