Hi All
I'm following a tutorial on rigging a fish, and as part of that, the guy takes an iK curve and makes that curve dynamic in the nHair menu. When I do this, I get a fatal error.
If I do this on a clean scene, it seems ok, but anything relating to this scene will crash. I can export the geo only and import into a fresh scene, and it crashes. This is a bit of a shop stopper, can anyone help? I've included a crash report.
Windows 10, Threadripper 3970x, 2080ti 128gb Ram, Maya 2020.1 (also tried on 2019)
Any help much appreciated
Best,
David

update - I tried this on my laptop, Dell XPS 15, just in case it was a hardware issue. Sadly the the same thing happened which somehow I find more concerning.
attached log of crash on laptop....
Any suggestions for this would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you Jordan, i'm impressed by the quick response - and also a response which doesn't include deleting prefs and re-installing! I really appreciate the fix, and indeed it did work! so thanks again! I kind of got it working 10 minutes ago (right before I saw the mail) in that the crash file actually made dynamic curves but it left me paranoid that further down the line something would unexpectedly die again. Hopefully I can continue and all is well.
All the best
David
