Move objects with Blend Shapes

Hi there,

 

I have a question that i can't solve by myself and i was wondering about. I've looked all around i can't find it.

 

Is there any method that when you have a Blend Shape you can move other objects at the same time?

 

For example, i have a rigged body and I have applied movement to the mouth using a Blend Shape, but also i want the teeth to move at the same time as the mouth so it looks like it's talking and looks realistic.

 

Is there any method to do it?

You can create a blend shape for the teeth too and make it trigger when the blendshape for mouth activates.

And how do I do that? Because I'm such a novice in the Rigging part.

 

I understand that i have to create a blend shape with no movement and then maybe with set driven key i could trigger it, it's that what you mean?

yeah, 

first pose your character into the pose you want to fix,

then create a blend shape for the teeth,

then return to the normal pose,

then add a set-driven key to activate that blend shape with the other blend shape controller.

Thank you soo much!

 

It Helped a lot and now i've got the mouth that opens correctly with teeth included.

 

Just before done the rigging process i've unlocked the translate Y Atribute and then adjusted it to the slider i previously had with Set Driven Key
