Mesh not following rig after exporting

I created a character and a rig using HumanIK. However after I exported the Character and Rig to do some testing, the checkbox for baking animations were checked. So the animations of the joints were baked. Unfortunatly i saved the scene after it was baked.

Now when i want to delete those to animate, the mesh won't follow the Rig anymore. Is there a way to remove the baked Animation without the Rig and Mesh being disconnected?

But now when i try to animate the character, the Mesh doesnt follow the Rig anymore, eventhough the Mesh is still bined to the rig and the skinweights are applied.

The Skin Weights are still applied
