Maya translate not matching

Hi

So I am animation a logo and I am moving all of the shapes that I have on my screen 16 in Z space. Some of the shapes wont move as far as the other but still they are both set to 16 in the Z. I clicked freeze transformation before I started animating so that is not the problem. This is not the first time this happens but I dont know how to fix this.

Hi!

Please upload a scene-file (you can remove everything that's not needed to show the problem).

Hi!

Both objects start at different positions at Z-axis and then both move by a value of 16, so they retain there offset

You either have to start animation with both objects at the same Z-Depth or move one object by a different value than the other.

This is maybe the result of using Freeze Transformations on objects that are not lined up before using Freeze Transformations.

Hi and thanks for your reply

The strange thing is that tranzlate Z is showing 0 on my start frame on all objects. I am still having some issue with this. I think I know what might be the problem. I made the shapes and then I started animating. In the middle of my animation I found out that I need to have holes in my object (for a screws that the producer wanted). So I put some holes on my shape. When I then played my animation these object moved but the keyframes on my timeline (and the graph editor) were gone. So now I cant make these object stop moving because there are no keyframes to delete. Maybe this has also something to do with why the translate is not matching. Any thoughts?

Hi!

Your keys are on other transform nodes and a different frame range ( -30.96, 110).

In Outliner enable Display -> Shapes, this gives you a better visibility and understanding of the hierarchy of meshes and their corresponding transform nodes.

My screenshot-animation starts with simple object selection in Viewport and then switches to the right (animated) transform node selection in Outliner.
