MASH - animate objects along deforming curve

I'm trying to use MASH's curve node to animate some objects along cached dynamic hair curves. The issue is the objects jitter and jump along the curve over time and don't animate along the curve smoothly. I tried setting animation speed to 0 to essentially freeze the objects' curve position. The objects then move with the curve's motion properly, but still jitter a bit along the length of the curve.

I tried attaching an object to the curve via "Attach to Motion Path", and I get similar results. If I check the "Parametric length" option, however, then the object no longer jitters and can smoothly move along the deforming curve.

Is there any way to make MASH's curve node use Parametric length when calculating the position along a curve?

An update:

I found an attribute in the Mash Curve node called "Parametric Length", but switching it ON doesn't help the jittering.
