Hey, wasn't sure whether to post this in the Motion Builder forum or here, but I think my problem is more related to Maya.
Basically, I have a character that I applied motion capture on with Motion Builder and I sent it to Maya to correct the animation and add it in my scene. For some reason, when I move the joints of the fingers, the joints move alone and leave the mesh, even though there is weight on them. Therefore, I can not animate the fingers. The rest of the body is fine though, it's really just the fingers.
If I send my Motion Builder scene to Maya in a new scene, the fingers work, which is why I'm assuming the issue is with my Maya scene. I don't really want to just start over, so I was wondering if there was a solution.
I've sent many characters (even the same character Ièm working on now but with different animations) from Motion Builder to Maya to edit the animations before and I never encountered this kind of issue, so I'm kind of at a lost.
