Issues with absymMesh plugin in Maya 2020 and ways to resolve them

Hello

I am using Maya 2020 and I face issues while using absymMesh.mel script to automatically modify my base meshes. The plugin is not working properly for Maya 2020 in Mac (at least in my case) or it's me who is not using it right. After, flipping or mirroring vertices or even reversing the modified mesh to its base, the "modified" mesh cannot be recognised as a true copy of the original-base mesh thus it cannot be added as a target in blendshape node. Even if it gets added, it is inactive. This is my short experience after messing around with absymMesh and copies of the original base mesh in Maya 2020.

Although, visibly it doesn't seem to have been modified, still blend shapes node cannot recognise them as copies of the original mesh and cannot add them as targets, even if the changes are very slight and not visible to the eye. However, what I noticed is that if I delete history from the base-original mesh, it makes the copies functional targets. Means, it recognises them as targets adds them and work successfully.

Has anyone ever had similar experience? Can he comment? Did I miss anything?
