Graph editor with missing time marker and can't drag select graphs

Hi,

I've got 2 problems to solve here.

1.

I can't find the time marker and the time ruler in my graph editor (vertical yellow sliding thing) but it seems to appear on the time editor somehow.

2.

I can't select multiple graphs in my graph editor. Which means I can't drag select.

Looks like this was a bug that they have tried to address with service pack 1 for Maya 2017. Here is a link to the link of issues they tried to address.

I think what you are describing would be under bug  MAYA-72839 so possibly downloading the service pack 1 version of maya would fix this.

Can you specify which version of Maya you are running ?

If you access the Animation Preferences (Windows > Settings/Preferences > Animation), is the Graph Editor UI mode set to "Modern" ?
