Googly eye rigging, help !

Hi everyone ! Hope you have a nice day 🙂

It's been a while since i make some rigging in Maya. Unfortunately, I can't share my work 😞

I've been working on a pair of googly eye. it's look like this

I've done the spring part, and I try this two tutorial :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG9aEtmPWNQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z41X4x-16Jk&t=813s

So far, I prefer the second tutorial, but the eye part doesn't follow anything. I've try to work with a orient constraint and a aim constraint, but nothing work 😕

I was thinking that, maybe I need to use the first tutorial, then binding everything with the eye part (add a joint for the eye), but remove some kind of influence, so the deformation doesn't affect the eye part ?

So yeah...Need some advice please (and sorry for my weird english, it's not my main language :C)

Group the eye, parentConstrain the group to the spring's end control curve.. now you can move the end of the spring, and aim eyeballs to any direction.
