Hi there! 🙂
I'm looking for resources (courses, tutorial series, books, blogs... or just someone to chat with 😁) that could provide a general foundation of building DCC (Maya) animation pipelines for games.
I have experience using pipelines as an animator and some experience rigging and making tools for Maya with Python and MEL but I know I have a lot to learn.
The type of functions I imagine will be needed is:
- Exporting animation from Maya rig (in a way that can be re-imported to Maya rig (ATOM?) and also imported to game engine (FBX)).
- Importing animation to Maya rig (from ATOM and mocap (FBX?)).
- Making changes to Maya rigs without having to redo already exported animations from same rig.
Thanks!
