Faster way of comparing animations

Hey,

Let's say I'm animating a leg and don't know if the previous version is looking better or the new version.

How can I compare those two animation ?

Till now I was opening the old and new playblast side by side in keyframe mp app . but that seems to be a bit slow process.

Is there any way I can compare both versions quicker ?

thank you.,

If you have the previous animation saved as a different file, then you can reference that file and compare the 2 versions side by side.

An other way is to save the animation as an alembic or GPU cache and import that alembic in the new file.

As an animator, I usually import my layout as alembic before I start animating so I have even automated the process.
