Default Skeleton in Maya Reverts to its Default Position

Hi Guys,

I am new to using skeletons in Maya. I had to pose some characters and I used the default skeleton available in Maya without the FK handle. The problem arises when Maya is closed and reopened and the skeleton goes back to its default scale and the mesh gets deformed with it since its binded. Its really annoying to start everything all over again. I am using Maya 2019.
P.S. I am also attaching a screenshot of the problem.

I'm also facing the same problem. how did you fix it?
