Connecting hands to an IK/FK arm rig (cursed Lynda tutorial)

was following this Lynda cartoon rigging tutorial where the guy skips the crucial step of telling you how to attach the hands to the rig.

-have a basic humanoid with IK/FK switch arms

-have 3 sets of arms. Control arms, and then IK arms and FK arms to influence the control arms

-have made the hands but have no idea how to connect them to rig

-When I parent them to the wrist joint of the control arms, they do not follow on both IK/FK settings.

I also have nurb controls for the knuckles point/orient constrained to each knuckle.

Any tips for me?

I'll try to give my knowledge on this because I remember hating this part in class.

So you said when you connect the wrist joint to the actual arms, but then move the arms in IK or FK mode, they don't follow. Do you have the FK/IK arms constrained to the control arms with a switch to which one is constrained? (I think you said this, just clarifying)

I would think to constrain the wrist joint just as you would the control arms, perhaps.

Also make sure the wrists follow the control arms before even trying the FK/IK arms. Not sure if you did this, just a suggestion.
