So I'm trying to make a realistic working zipper for the shirt on this outfit that I'm working on. I've looked into some videos on how to do it. Sadly 98% of the videos are for blender.. I worked out that the curve warp tool could be used. I aligned the curve with the left side of the zipper, but when I select the curve and the zipper, and hit curve warp tool, it teleports the zipper off to the side while the curve stays in place (see second picture). I haven't yet attached the zipper to the Ncloth shirt yet, but I was thinking of getting it functional, then attaching it. But this is my first attempt at this, so if anyone has any suggestions, or better ways of doing this, I'd like to hear it.
PS: I prefer not to have to take this over to blender, and as such, would prefer answers that aren't "do it in blender". Mostly the reason for this is that swapping files between softwares is rarely seamless, and I'd rather minimize potential variables that could screw up my project. Besides, I'm more so trying to learn Maya fully, since it is more widely used in professional applications.
Thx.
