Quick rig effectors stop working after saving and loading

Hi, so I have been playing around with the quick rig and got it to work as intended( see link). I even started to animate my character but then I saved my work to later return to it. When reloaded all effectors are selectable but can't be moved. The position changes in the channel box when I try to move them but as soon I release the effector it snaps back to its first position. This does not move the rig or mesh. The skeleton is still binded to the skin and by just adjusting the skeleton all works as normal.

I saved my mesh and remade everything in a new document(See picture). When everything was rigged and weight painted I saved it, closed it and opened it again. Still the same problem as I can no longer move any controlers.

When looking online for answers a lot of them points to the Human Ik panel and to change to full body and set Ik/Blend t, r and pull to 1.000. I have tried all of them on all settings but still can't move the effectors/controlers.

What do all of you think?

I followed this tutorial while making the quick rig: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OGOOhVbaNs&t=609s&ab_channel=RolandReyerAfter saving and reloading I cant no longer move the controls as they snap back to their original position. After saving and reloading I cant no longer move the controls as they snap back to their original position.

Hi,

Be sure you are in 'body part' or 'full body' mode in the HIK controls.  Being in 'selection' mode will give you the behavior you are describing.

I think so, I have it selected in my picture or do I have to change it somewhere else?

Your screen shot shows it correctly selected.  There is no where else to change it.   Can you send me your file?

I whent back trying to find when It starts to act up. I redid my steps and saved and restarted and found out that my rigs validation status was invalid. Whenever I reloaded my file it went from valid to invalid.

I solved it by unlocking skeleton definition, then add all skeleton parts in the fingers to the definition and then locked it again. After skin baking, saving and reloading everything works as it should. Thanks for helping out, it gave me the strenght to keep pushing.
