named my render sequance wrong

hello,

I am currently rendering an animation using render sequence. but when I checked on my images the naming was

"animation_1_1.jpeg.000"for example, which is not what I want. I know how to fix this issue in Maya but my problem is that I now have a bunch of files I manually need to rename. and I was wondering if there was a more efficient solution to this?

Personally I use IrfanView for my image previewing needs, and it has an option to batch rename a sequence of files using whatever prefix/suffix numbering rules you choose.
