Mixamo / Trax editor / Time editor / Human Ik... what is the process ?

Hello everyone

I would like to share with you my experience.

I have downloaded 4 animations from Mixamo, and the purpose was to blend them.

1. Import each FBX in Maya / Select joint (hierarchy) / Trax -> create animation clip / select animation clip / Trax -> export animation clip Maya ASCII format

2. With same T-pose Character import all animation clips previously saved

Problem was : The blend animation between two clips was not working.

I thought it was because I needed to rig with humanIK.

3 I did that part, but when I try to apply control rig to the source, animations from Trax were not working anymore.

So I figure I need to go though the time editor (wich was supposed to replace trax) and try to import animation clip to y rigged character, but here is the message :with .ma files

// Error: line 0: Unable to create clip because 'C:/Users/B/Documents/maya/projects/Yuka/clips/walking.ma' content does not match any objects from the scene //

With .mb files it loads inside Time editor through content browser, but doesn't fit the animation (see below)

So I would like to get your advice about this processs

Thanks

Fransua

Solution : I have imported my fbx one by one inside Maya and Time Editor. Export selected from Time Editor.

From a T-pose I have imported all these animation inside Maya/Time Editor from Content Browser.

(Still don't understand if I need or not to do the Human IK process)
