maya rigged/skinned character scaling problem

hello,
my problem is when I scale my skinned/rigged character, it deforms, but it is no double transformation. For skining I used bind skin (logically), delta mush and the paint skin tool. Before I apply the delta mush tool, everything scales right. But after I applied delta mush, it looks weird if I scale the character.
