Maya playblast audio problem

Hello!

So I'm using Maya 2017, and I have an audio file, which I set to start, with the sequencer attributes, after a while.

So if I'm scrubbing or playing in maya it works perfectly.

But as soon as I try to do a playblast the audio starts from the actual start, not from when I set it to start.

Do you have any idea on why this is happening and/or how to fix it?

Thanks!

Thanks for posting!

What are you using for playback? I've had this issue before using QuickTime.

When I'm animating to an audio file I usually add the delay into the actual audio file so that I know it won't change. When animating lip sync especially, a frame or two can set the entire animation off.

Locking down the audio file with build in delay avoids the process of Maya/Codecs/ adding the data and possibly shifting it slightly.

It should be accurate but in the interest of time and best practice, that would be my recommendation.

I will test this with Maya 2017 but I will need to know the specifics of your playblast settings?
