Maya Graph Editor not displaying curves properly

Apologies if this has been asked before but I am currently working in a completely clean install of Maya 2020 but each time I add a keyframe to the timeline, the graph editor is an absolute mess.  Instead of smooth spline curves, I get a strange mashup of connected curves and strange angles.  Please see the attached screenshot as I'm finding it hard to describe.  I'm working on a Windows PC and I uninstalled and downloaded a completely clean, fresh copy from Autodesk this morning and the same problem keeps happening.  Any help anyone can offer would be gratefully received as I'm doing a masters degree here and it's really slowing me up!

*SOLVED*

In case anyone else has this problem.

Apparently, the drivers for the graphics card were not up to date, so I updated everything I could find, and switched the graphic editor to classic view instead of modern view, and it's worked! Lovely, nice, smooth curves now.

I have the same f***** problem. And it is absolutely annoying.

There is no solution for me. I'll wait to Maya 2024 to fix this.

Try to set in preferences defaults tangents to weighted tangents
