Maya 2024.1 Timeline Hang when Shifting Keyframes

EDIT: Autodesk has advised me this bug has been patched and will be released in a future version of Maya.
On latest Maya 2024.1, the new timeline, while it looks nice, has terrible performance for me when trying to work with dense keyframes over many objects/controllers.
I have some motion capture data on a regular biped skeleton, so keyframes every frame across 100 frames and about 90 bones. No other rigging or scene information, very vanilla stuff. Doing basic manipulations like sliding, scaling keys in the old Maya 2023 timeline is near-instantaneous. On the same scene file in Maya 2024, the new timeline will hang with 1 CPU thread maxed out for *MINUTES* before it does the requested operation. And it will do this every time I want to do these operations. This makes it completely unusable for me, and I've immediately downgraded back to Maya 2023.
This problem seems to scale based on the number of keyframes and controllers selected. On small numbers it seems okay, but quickly becomes unusable the more you select, in a way that the old timeline was able to easily handle but this new timeline cannot.
Happy to provide scene files and YouTube videos upon request.
