Keys in animation suddenly missing

Good day, 

Strangest thing, the keys in the animation of one of my rig controls are suddenly missing. in the attribute editor all translations are yellow, the animation is still there but I can not any new keys either. Tried unmutting and unlocking but that does nothing. 

Please advise.

Hi!

Based on the screenshot you created an animation clip in Time Editor.

Either use the Time Editor for further editing or bake the animation to the scene and delete the clip(s) in Time Editor.
