Human IK roll joints

hello masters of Maya rigging

I was enjoying skinning my characters shoulders and arms using the roll joints system on the HIK.

how ever I now notice a weird behaviour which I would love to solve.

when using the should IK controller to lower the arm from its T pose the first roll joints on the arm rolls about 15 degrees.. which messes up my skinning obviously .. ..  although it should stay at 0.  it seems there is some sort of work up axis at work?  the roll only works when you  animate the IK controllers..  which I can get my head around..

anyone bumped into this?

it happens on the default HI skeleton and control..  when u rotate shoulder IK controller 90 to lower the arm, the roll  bones do not stay aligned.   BAAAA

Can you please post an animated gif to help describe the problem?

here is a video showing the issue on brand new skeleton.. note how the roll system works well when the arm is up at T pose.. but as I bring the arm down the first roll join twists about 15 degrees (and also note towards the end I show how the distribution is flipped.. the first one tilts and the last one stays solid.

The link to the video did not work for me.  Can you post the video on Youtube?
