I am trying to bind my Human I.K Control rig to my character.

Note: I am following the process my tutor has showed the class.

The process was to create a rig, create the Control rig immediately, using the animation slider to keyframe the original T-Pose bones location then rotating the bones to fit with the A pose and keyframing them in.

But now I am trying to bind the Control Rig to my character and I can't seem to be able to.

Any suggestions?

Well this could be an oversight. You don't "bind" control rig to your character. You bind the "skeleton" to the character. If what you're trying to do is to make the character to move with the control rig. Let me know If I misunderstood you.

You can make the skeleton visible by clicking the skeletal view. ( Refer the image attached ) or select it from the Null group "Character1_Reference"

Hope this helps. Happy Rigging/Animating.

Hey Gautham and thanks for your reply, I thought that this thread had died as soon as it was posted, haha!
It was not oversight, you were absolutely correct. I thought the control rig itself was now my Skeleton as I couldn't see the actual Skeleton anymore. Honest mistake, I suppose.

Luckily for me my tutor got back to me later yesterday with the same answer.

But I kept this thread live in case someone such as yourself replied with a solution and anyone else with the same problem could find the answer within here.

Thanks again 🙂 !

Sure, I thought that there might of been an option to do that but honestly, I didn't look hard enough :D!

I will mark it now, thanks! 🙂
