Ghosting not working

Hey, I'm using Malcolm rig (Free 3D Animation Character | AnimSchools Malcolm Rig | AnimSchool Picker) 

I can ghost the controllers of the rig but not the geometry of the rig.(I can also ghost a newly created cube so it has to be something from the rig I think)

How to solve this ?

Hi,

Cached Playback is not active.  You will need it to ghost deforming geometry.

Hey, thanks for the reply, but the issue is still the same even after turning on the cached playblack (evaluation cache).

Are there any messages in the script editor? Can you paste them here for me?

no error/warning. I've just reopened the file-selected geometry and hit ghost selected results this in script editor-  

// File read in 12.2 seconds.
// F:/AAnimation/AAnimation+/Posing_Jump.ma //
select -r malcolm_v200:geoPants ;

You need to disable smooth mesh preview on the meshes.   

Select mesh, and uncheck smp in the Attributes < Smooth Mesh
