Can't zoom in graph editor in single axis (Maya 2022)

Hello! For some reason, I haven't been able to zoom in the graph editor in just the x or y axis; no matter what I do, it always zooms evenly. The cursor when I hit alt+shift right-click looks like the below image regardless of if I drag left-right or up-down.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Try the  alt + shirt + middle mouse button, and make sure you are not in the walk tool

if that doesn't work. try renaming your prefs and restarting maya with Fresh Preferences.

Unfortunately these things didn't work, but after uninstalling Maya and reinstalling, it started working again. However, after a few minutes of working in my scene it got stuck at the even zooming again. Closing Maya and re-opening seems to fix it now at least. I'm not sure if I'm triggering a setting change with some unintentional key combination or what... I'll try to be more aware of my actions if I notice it getting stuck again. Thank you for your suggestions!

Alright so I found the solution but it's incredibly specific to my setup... So I've been working remotely through Citrix, and started using a new mechanical keyboard recently. Ever since I started using this keyboard, I haven't been able to type outside of my Citrix window until I uncheck my keyboard under the Citrix "Devices" tab above. But it seems whenever I do this, my graph editor can only zoom evenly. If I check my keyboard again (therefore making it unable to type outside of Citrix), zooming in x and y works perfectly. I don't understand it, but I guess my issue is solved?
