Blendshape creation

Hi,

I've got a full body mesh for a character, I'd like to create facial blendshapes for it. Is it best to separate the head so the facial blendshape data is as light as possible i.e not storing data for the static/unused body verts. Or is there no advantage to separating the head from the body because Maya optimises the blendshapes under the hood?

Hi 

Depending upon your need. If your model covers the full body with dress, then you can proceed with cut head. otherwise you can  go with full body. (Cut part  Textuer issue, thats why)
