Auto-Rig not working

Hi,

I'm having an extremely frustrating time with the auto-rig function; it seems to only be working from the waist down as shown:

I can, however, use the rotate tool on the bones:

This doesn't alleviate the main problem, however; I've watched countless tutorials on the auto-rig and on almost every one they grab and manipulate the wrist joints as an example of the functionality. I've tried resetting everything to factory defaults and still no luck - in fact, I can't even manipulate the upper body joints even when the skeleton isn't bonded to the mesh:

I've spent a while looking for a solution for this but searching isn't yielding any results; does anyone have a clue what's happening here?

I figured it out - little itty bitty Full Body/Body Part/Selection buttons at the top of the Human IK tab. I would mark this thread as "solved," or better yet delete it, but I can't seem to find the forum tools to do that.

EDIT: Srsly Autodesk? I can accept my own comment as a solution but I can't delete my own thread? Yeah, this is going to be a fun place...

Hi!

Someone else may have the same problem and so can easily find the solution here. That's better than just deleting the tread.

Y'know, that's a fair point - I didn't find ANYTHING online mentioning those controls so, yeah, I guess it works out in this situation...
