Animation only works in Reverse?

My animation works fine in reverse, but when playing forward, the playback speed is so slow, like one frame per 5 seconds. I messed with the playback speed setting and moved the frames to the shorten the time, but the affects are only applied in reverse.  I'm new to Maya(2020) and this is due today lol please help.

Did you change the scene settings (next to the timeline) or settings in preferences? Not an animator, but I know those effect the scene differently. And good luck on your project, I know that's a rough spot to be in.

I lowered the fps and that seemed to fix it. I'm assuming it was just a glitch.  Thanks for the reply!

Glad it fixed! Maya can be buggy, so if something weird happens, sometimes resetting a setting or closing and reopening the program can fix it.
