Alt+MMB not working

Hi all, 

so my alt+MMB recently stopped working in the viewport. The MMB scroll zooms in and out just fine. Alt+LMB works just fine as well. It does not work in any of the older versions of maya either...

also have tried redownloading maya. 

anyone know what i can do to fix this?

the graphics card is Nvidia Ritz 1660super (only cause i saw someone else on a forum ask about this)

Try deleting your prefs.

 i tried resetting the preferences, didn't work either 😓
