Alembic exports only one frame, not the whole sequence

I have a mesh that deforms over a 250 frame animation. I try to export this with alembic so that I can import it into Unreal Engine, but all that is getting exported is the first frame of the animation sequence.

I select the mesh and go to cache>alembic cache> export selection to alembic. From there I have cache time range set to time slider, UV write, write face sets, write visibility, and write UV sets all checked in advanced options, and HDF5 as my file format. I export selection, and what is produced is a dinky little abc file with only the first frame written out. Does anyone know what is happening?

I did as suggested, but no change in the results. Alembic isn't exporting the animation. Even with reduced frames, there doesn't seem to be any change. I'm going to look around some more. Any suggestions welcome.

Man o man, what a difference a new day makes. I found the solution.

Apparently, there was a whole set of extra steps that I didn't know about. The tutorial here cleared everything up.

Thanks everyone,
