Hello ,

when I build the rig face in advanced skeleton it completed all the steps except the lips, this error message appears:

Documents/maya/2020/scripts/AdvancedSkeleton5/AdvancedSkeleton5.mel line 21999: No object matches name: lowerLipJoint15

any help please??

That error message is telling you there's no node in your scene with the name "lowerLipJoint15".  I've never used Advanced Skeleton.  But I'm assuming there's a workflow that creates joints.  Somewhere in the process, that joint was not created.  Are you sure you went through all the creation steps correctly?  Or did you inadvertently rename some of the joints?

As a side note, it's bad practice to hardcode names for this very reason.  I'm surprised Advanced Skeleton does this.

Do you have any joints that are named "lowerLipJoint#"?  Do you have joints intended to be used for influences in the lip area?  If so, were those joints created by Advanced Skeleton?

I've never used Advanced Skeleton.  But from the UI, it looks like you have the option of skipping the lips.  Since you don't have any lip joints, why not just skip that step.  I'm actually surprised there aren't any checks in the build process.  Maybe they are relying on the errors as their check system.

Were you able to skip the lips in your build process?

no I couldn't skip the lip step , but I figured out where is the issue

it's the selection of edge loop of the upper and lower lips and I fixed it and it finally worked

hello dear,

when you select the edges for lips , go to modeling toolkit at the right and choose multi component then choose the vertices and edges , so now you can select the vertices of the lips plus the edges .

Note: choose 3 vertices of the lips : the corner and the up middle and the down middle .

My jaw end wasnt positioned,  something happened there. I reset the jaw end rebuilt the skeleton and that solved it for me.

How you selected the loop of the lips?
you selec vertex and edges form the LipOuter, LipMain and LipInner?

I have the error:
Advance skeleton/AdvancedSkeleton.mel line 25115: More than one object matches name: LipSetup
but when i try to delete the group "LipSetup" (whitch is empty) appears another error :"c
