Rene - which version of KUKA supports this postprocessor? Sounds interesting if can push our robot to do some milling 🙂
What we have here is KR150 with KRC2 - year 2003 - is it fits?

Classic! I think this should be the new development uniform... "They are functioning Automatik. And they are coding Mekanik. They are the Robots."
If you like Kraftwerk, check out this live version from 2013 - http://youtu.be/b0j5GOlC9VA.
I would also like a copy of the KUKA post for fusion 360. We just recieved a new KUKA arm at the UW and are starting to mess around with it. Thanks!

Hello René!
I have posted my problem already in an other forum. (CAM)
With further research i found your discussion here. I think my problem is more related to the post processor, so i think it should belong here.
Can you move my post here? Or could you already give me advice on my problem?
Best Regards
Michael
Hello!
My setup:
I am using a 6-axis robot arm with a milling spindle mounted onto it.
My Problem:
I am trying to mill multiple sides of a part without any physical reorientation. Milling the first side is no problem, but when the robot has to rotate to the second side I could recognize that it moves to a wrong location.
I have checked the post processor outputs. For me it looks like the post processor does not consider that there has been a reorientation. Therfore the outputs for the axis X,Y,Z seem to be wrong/swapped.
First side:
Second side:
I have also tried to follow the instructions given at this link: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/de/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/DE...
but I think this is not what i need.
I have added the outputs of the post processor in the attachments.
I have also added my fusion 360 project.
I am using a post processor for kuka robots which i have modified a little bit, so it matches with my axis configuration. (also in the attachments)
Does anyone know why i have this problem or has anyone faced a similiar problem? I am happy for any advice you could give me.
Michael
Hello Rene',
can you please provide your KUKA post with the tutorial for Fusion 360 etc.?
Thank you,
