Creating a tapped hole in Fusion

If I'm understanding this process right. Pick a planer face create a hole (no chamfer) - size doesn't seem to matter but depth does. Then select the face of the hole cylinder to create a thread (or tapped hole). Now drag the arrow to get the correct thread size according to the units you have selected. Sometimes the pull down list works sometimes you have to use the push/pull arrow. The reason for no chamfer is it is not linked to the holes by a distance and angle relative to the hole diameter (it is a diameter driven feature). If the user stretches the hole larger than the chamfer diameter then you will have an unbuildable feature.

Is this the proper way to create a tapped hole in Fusion? Doesn't seem very robust like SW. Why all the mouse clicks? Why not select a face then select tapped hole from a pull down list? Surely with all the resourses on the Fusion team this would not be that big of a deal.

I'm just playing around with product to see if it is a good enough product to do some real design work. If creating a tapped hole is this big of a task Fusion has a ways to go IMHO.

#1: Yes, I and others have asked for a Hole Wizard akin to the SW version.

#2: This is more of a Design forum question than CAM: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/bd-p/124

That is correct, also no standard fastener holes are create either, at least the last time I check.  No pipe or tapered threads.

The hole wizard is getting some updates for SW2017 to allow the creation of more stepped holes.

Onshape also has a hole wizard with standard fastener holes.
