Two different results for the same configuration.

Hello,

I have made in June an solar radiation analysis with revit which results were 870 kWh/m2, as average value, and 1130.4kWh/m2 as top value.

Today, with the same model and the same settings I have obtained the following results : 636kWh/m2 as average value and 504.6kWh/m2 as top value.

How is it possible to have differents values with the same configurations without any modification?
You will find attache 2 screenshots for the results.

Best Regards

The only difference I see (in the Legend) between the two is that the higher one has the time range set to 0:00-12:59, while the other is set to 09:36-17:41.  I've found that when setting the option 'Sunrise to Sunset' in the Revit Sun Settings dialog for a Multi Day sun study, the time range does not change day to day, it uses the sunrise to sunset range of the first day.  To get all daylight hours, uncheck that option and let Insight Solar filter out the non-daylight hours each day.  Best to use the 'Full Annual' time range setting in Insight Solar settings.

Also might be that your Location changed.  Double check that a Weather Station is selected in the Location dialog.  If you don't have access to the weather server or didn't set a station, it might choose a default weather station, though that normally gives you a warning dialog.

Hi David,

Thanks for your feedack. Actually the problem seems not to be link with the model/file or the settings. If I run the same analyse on another computer I obtain a different results.

I would like to find out which parameters of Revit could be an influence have on the results.

If someone has an idea about that I would be grateful to have this information.

Best Regards.

Hi,

The problem was due to my Revit release. I have installed the last one 2019 2.2 and I don't have the problem anymore.
