Will there be an update to the Insight tool to allow ASE ranges of 10-20% to be compliant (not fail)?

Definitely on the list of improvements, but no ETA as of yet.

#1 on the next release for sure.  Just can't make any promises when that will be, unfortunately.

Meantime, design for the sDA performance, as that is the main priority.  If you don't have any shading on a fully-glazed building, you'll have issues with LEED v4o1 no matter what, so the 10% threshold is still a good desigin guideline.  Also you can see the 20% threshold using the Analysis Display Style to get a sense of the design performance.  Implementing the 20% threshold will only give you summary and schedule results numbers, but not overall design feedback, which is available now.
