Editing PV Panel type

Hi good evening to anyone reading this,

I am doing a project and I wanted to use the Insight 360 to do solar analysis on specific kinds of photovoltaic panels, does anyone know if I am able to set, edit or create the specific properties of the PV panels I want in either insight 360 or revit?

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi @Anonymous,

If you're doing the solar analysis within Revit, then yes, you can control a fair amount of settings. When you initiate the solar analysis plugin, select the gear/settings icon in the top right. From there, you'll be able to control the Study Settings, which include things like electricity cost, panel type, payback, etc.

Hope this helps.

So what I would like is to add a custom PV-panel type. For instance, we have a project with panels of 400Watt at the dimensions of 1.6 x 1.0m meter. Resulting in an efficiency of 25%. But I cant find how to add this custom % other than the three default ones.. Anyone who can help here?
