Daylight Analysis Error

I have the educational version of Revit 2018 and I am trying to run a daylight analysis with Insight. However everything I get the same window, which says: FAILED TO EXPORT DOCUMENTS TO SPD. SPD EXPORTS FAILED. CHECK YOU HAVE PERMISSIONS.

Any thoughts or ideas on how I can solve this problem?

Can you do a Rendering with View > Render In Cloud?

Do you have the 3dView named '_Lighting Analysis Model View'?

Are you logged in to your Autodesk account?

Have you saved your model?

Do you have the C://Autodesk/RevitDaylighting folder?

If so, can you send us the txt log file, which will give us more info.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. I have unistalled the educational version and
instralled a trail version. Now I don't get the error anymore, however I
cannot find a C drive daylight file. I have a 3d view_Daylight analysis
however the model also doesn't show any results.

All the daylighting work is done in Revit. The C-drive folder is just for
storing the log files for debugging.
If you did , the run should show up in the Run List. It
runs in the cloud, and you'll get a notification when it's complete, then
you can Generate Results, which will show results in summary window, active
3d views, and Lighting plan views and schedules.

Tell me the process you followed, and I'll see if there were any problems.

I run the daylight analysis, it says it is running in the cloud, I also get
the message it done and I press Aceept and Update the model. Then, I get a
3d daylight view but no additional views for the plans. I also don't have a
botton which says: generate results, as it appears in different tutorials.

Sounds like you got it right.
The Plan views are only generated for Levels that have Rooms. You probably
have no Rooms, so only the 3d views, which use all Floor points, will be
generated. The Floor Schedule will use all Floor points for it's results
in this case.
The Generate Results process is not through selecting a run from the Run
List that comes up when you click the Lighting button.

Sorry David,

I think I still don't get it. I have rooms placed but I don't have the plan
views generated. Also there is no get results icon, please see attached. I
apologise for the inconvinience.

Hello.

No attachment.

Did you review the documentation links I attached?  There is no 'gen results' icon anymore, so please refer to the updated documentation.
