What Do You Use To Create Cutfiles For Laser Cutting?

Currently my company is using an old legacy software that isnt compatible with inventor 2025, ive been going through and trying to upgrade the .NET framework but honestly its becoming a serious issue and its keeping us from upgrading past 2024. What cutfile builders do you use to send .dxf files to the laser cutter. We are using sigmaNest as our nesting software if that helps. Thanks!

When we had a laser cutter for sheetmetal & plate, I used Metamations MetaCAM for nesting and exporting the programs to the laser. That was a while ago, we got rid of the laser in 2015.

I used to use a software called CamDuct. This was a program for sheet metal components. We would then send it to a plas table. Never had a fancy laser. 

Would something like inventor nesting work? I briefly messed about with this back when I was throwing around future ideas at that workplace.
